The Town Council of the Town of Corte Madera hereby gives notice that a Town Council vacancy has occurred effective January 17, 2017. Applications are now being accepted to fill the remainder of the term, which will expire in November, 2017.

The Town Council of the Town of Corte Madera hereby gives notice that a Town Council vacancy has occurred effective January 17, 2017. At its January 17, 2017 regular meeting, the Corte Madera Town Council discussed the vacancy and directed staff to solicit applications from interested residents. Applications are now being accepted to fill the remainder of the term, which will expire in November, 2017. Registered voters who reside within Town limits are eligible to be considered for appointment. The application form is available on the Town’s website in both Word and PDF formats via the following link: http://townofcortemadera.org/650/Town-Council-Vacancy-Appointment-Process Applications will be accepted through Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. Applications must be delivered in person to the Town Clerk at the Town Hall Administrative Office located at 300 Tamalpais Drive in Corte Madera between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Interviews, which will be open to the public, are scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2017 beginning at 6:00 p.m. It is anticipated that an appointment will be made during the regular Town Council meeting that same evening.
