The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and the Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) invite the community to attend their Marin County Open House on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 8:30am to 1pm at the Corte Madera Community Center, 498 Tamalpais Drive. The public will have an opportunity to learn about and comment on “Plan Bay Area 2040”, the long range planning effort by ABAG and MTC to achieve greenhouse gas reduction, housing, transportation, and economic goals (among others). The current outreach effort is intended to solicit comments on three Growth Scenarios for the Bay Area to accommodate the projected 673,000 new jobs, 1.9 million new residents, and 765,000 new housing units expected by 2040.
