The revised draft Corte Madera Housing Element (4th draft) is now available for review on the Town’s housing website. The third draft of the Housing Element was submitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on May 4, 2023. The Town received preliminary comments from HCD on May 16, 2023. The revised draft Housing Element dated May 18, 2023 addresses HCD’s most recent comments. Staff anticipates receiving a letter from HCD in the coming weeks stating that the Town’s Housing Element is in substantial compliance with State law.
All revisions to the draft Housing Element are shown in track changes. Staff prepared a response letter to HCD that describes the changes made to the draft Housing Element and how each of their comments has been addressed. The response letter is also available for review on the Town’s Housing website (www.cortemaderahousing.org).
The Town will submit the revised draft Housing Element to HCD seven days after the release of the revised draft. The public is invited to provide comments on the revised draft Housing Element. Please send email comments to: housingplan@tcmmail.org or via mail to:
