The revised draft Corte Madera Housing Element is now available for review and is available on the Town’s Housing website.The first draft of the Housing Element was submitted to the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on August 16, 2022 following a 30-day public review period. The Town received comments from HCD on November 21, 2022.
The revised draft addresses HCD’s comments on the draft Housing Element. Revisions have also been made to Appendix B (Evaluation of 2015 Housing Element Programs) and Appendix C (Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing). All revisions to the draft Housing Element and appendices are shown in redlines. Staff prepared a response letter to HCD that describes the changes made to the draft Housing Element and how each of their comments has been addressed. The response letter is also available for review on the Town’s Housing website (www.cortemaderahousing.org).
The Town will submit the revised draft Housing Element to HCD seven days after the release of the revised draft. The public is invited to provide comments on the revised draft Housing Element. Please send email comments to: housingplan@tcmmail.org or via mail to:
