The Town of Corte Madera would like to remind our residents of the vehicle access restrictions for deliveries to homes in Christmas Tree Hill. Please be advised that on roadways in Christmas Tree Hill, there is a 3-ton load limit and a 35-foot maximum length. The public safety restrictions are in place to ensure the roadways are clear for vehicular access at all times. The Town has received several recent complaints about oversized delivery trucks getting stuck and causing traffic delays on various streets within the Christmas Tree Hill community. Last week, a truck and trailer was stuck at the intersection of Redwood Ave and Crescent Road for more than an hour. This incident caused traffic delays and frustration to homeowners living in the area. This situation required the use of two tow trucks and a forklift to correct the condition. Although the driver was cited for causing the obstruction and delay, the Town would like to prevent these incidents from occurring in the future. The Town requests that all Christmas Tree Hill residents communicate these safety restrictions when scheduling any deliveries to their homes on Christmas Tree Hill.
