The 2022 Sewer Rehabilitation Project is upon us and the Town's contractor began mobilization on July 21, 2022. Initially, our contractor began marking alignment for saw-cutting for the Lakeside Pump Station Force Main extension on Tamalpais Drive, from Sausalito Street to Lakeside Drive.
- During the week of August 1st through August 5th, our contractor will begin trench excavating for the placement of the new Lakeside Pump Station Force Main on Tamalpais Drive.
8/2/22- UPDATE: The initial segment of 2022 Sewer Rehabilitation Project involves an evening/after hours component (significantly reduced sewer flow) which is scheduled to begin on the evening of Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 9:30 PM, and will continue through the night until the morning hours. It is anticipated that evening work and associated noise will occur in the area of Tamalpais Drive at Sausalito Street. Additionally, our contractor will be utilizing large pumping trucks to address sewer flow during the force main upgrade.
Trucks and crews will be monitoring the Lakeside pump station on Lakeside Drive with construction crews accessing and using Lakeside Drive, between Birch and Mohawk during evening hours. Our contractor will be providing notice to effected residences by placing door hangers on the font doors of residences prior to the commencement of work in each area/street. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience this may cause to impacted residents.
