The next regularly scheduled General Municipal Election will be held on November 8, 2022, where the voters of the Town of Corte Madera will elect three (3) members to the Town Council. The filing period for Town Council candidates will open at 8:00am on Monday, July 18, 2022, and will run through 5:00pm on Friday, August 12, 2022. The filing period will be extended to 5:00pm on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, for non-incumbent filers only, if any current office-holder with an expiring term does not file by the August 12th deadline. Candidates for Town Council must be a resident of Corte Madera, at least 18 years of age and a registered voter in the Town of Corte Madera at the time nomination papers are issued. Please Schedule an Appointment to Review and Receive Elections Material: Nomination paper, candidate binder, required forms and related election materials will be available in the Town Clerk's office at our Interim Town Hall location (240 Tamal Vista Blvd., Suite 110, Corte Madera in the Hunt Plaza Building) throughout the nomination period. Applications are available on the Town's website and submitting an application in advance of your appointment will start the process to verify current voter registration status with the Elections Department.
