[ARCHIVED] Corte Madera Thanksgiving Turkey Trot

Turkey Trot

The family-friendly Thanksgiving morning Turkey Trot for all ages is back! The event starts at 8:30 AM on Thursday, November 25, and will be wrapped up by about 9:30 AM so you will still have plenty of time to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner.  The route this year is almost entirely on multi-use paths, ending at the start location, with only a couple of street crossings.  It's FREE, and no registration is required.

Please arrive promptly by 8:20am to start trotting by 8:30am. Meet in Town Park by the Corte Madera Community Center. The route starts at Town Park, goes on the multi-use path behind Neil Cummins School, and continues on that path between Mohawk Avenue and Birch Avenue. The route continues partially on Lakeside Drive and back on the path to the bridge. Everyone will continue on the path into Larkspur, and you will turn around at the old Baltimore Avenue train station, and return the same way. It’s 3 miles total.

Everyone is invited!  Please share this info with your neighbors and friends who live in the Twin Cities. Questions? Call 917-539-8616.  What a great way to get reacquainted with folks from our community!

The 2021 Corte Madera Turkey Trot is sponsored by the Corte Madera Community Foundation, the Rotary Club of Marin Sunrise, the Corte Madera Community Center, the Corte Madera Lions Club, and Safeway.
