[ARCHIVED] 2021 Road Rehabilitation Project –Begins the Week of 9/6/21

2021 Road Rehabilitation Project

As the Paradise Drive Sidewalk Widening Project nears completion, the Town will be moving forward with the next phase of our Capital Improvement Program in this area.  Next week, the Town and our contractor, Ghilotti Brothers, Inc, will start the 2021 Road Rehabilitation Project.  This project involves the installation of ADA curb ramps, improving drainage and making repairs to the storm system, installing new signage, refreshing striping, and other related roadwork.  The 2021 Road Rehabilitation Project involves the complete resurfacing of Paradise Drive from San Clemente Drive to Seawolf Passage in both directions.   Additionally, the following streets within the Marina Village, Mariner Cove and Madera Del Presidio neighborhoods will be resurfaced following the work performed by the 2020 Sewer Rehabilitation Project:

  • Harbor Drive
  • Echo Avenue
  • Yolo Street
  • Edgemar Way
  • Channel Drive
  • Baja Court
  • Pacific Queen Passage
  • Flying Cloud Course
  • Meadow Ridge Drive
  • Ridge Court

Initial work involving identified tree removal, concrete work, drainage repair and the establishment of the ADA ramps will begin next week.  Paving and resurfacing segments are scheduled later in the project following infrastructure work expected to continue through end of November (weather permitting).   Prior to the resurfacing of specified streets, effected residents will be notified in advance of the disruption of access by door hangers, no parking barricades, and electronic message boards on effected streets.  For more information on the 2021 Road Rehabilitation Project, visit the Town’s project page by clicking here.

The Town will add a schedule once it has been submitted by the contractor. If you have further questions regarding this work, please contact Senior Civil Engineer Chris Good at (415) 927-5794 or cgood@tcmmail.org.
