[ARCHIVED] 2021 Sewer Rehabilitation Project - UPDATED SCHEDULE AS OF 12/9/2021

The 2021 Sewer Rehabilitation Project is designed to improve efficiency and operational integrity of the sewer collection system, reduce inflow & infiltration (I&I), reduce Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) risk, and reduce the need for frequent staff maintenance on the sewer system. The existing sewer mains consists of vitrified clay pipe (VCP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and asbestos cement (AC) pipes.

The sewer projects will include the following roads:

  • El Camino Drive
  • Estrada Lane
  • Paloma Drive
  • Granada Drive
  • Sonora Way
  • Endeavor Drive (Granada Drive to End)
  • Endeavor Cove

The project will replace 3,400 linear feet of sewer main, 46 spot repairs, and a rehabilitation of 33 manholes. The total number of lower laterals that will be replaced with this project is 212.

  • 12/6 to 12/21 – Replacing lower sewer laterals on Granada Drive, Estrada Lane, and Paloma Drive.
  • 1/3 to 1/14 – Sewer main replacement on El Camino Drive between Paradise Drive and Estrada Lane (Expect Traffic Delays)
  • 12/9 ongoing – Contractor will be doing road, sidewalk, and private property restoration on Sonora, Granada, Endeavor, and El Camino.
  • More updates to come

No construction work will take place between December 22 through December 31 for Christmas and New Year’s holidays.
