“Rotary Service Day” Project to Aid Seniors in Corte Madera
The Rotary Club of Marin Sunrise in Corte Madera is proud to announce it has partnered with Age-Friendly Corte Madera on “Rotary Service Day”, a one-day service project to aid Corte Madera seniors.
On Saturday October 24, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, volunteers from the Rotary Club will make free house calls to Corte Madera seniors to perform minor household tasks. Examples include replacing smoke alarm batteries, changing hard-to-reach light bulbs, unclogging slow drains, trimming bushes from doorways, oiling squeaky doors, troubleshooting computers or printers, and other small household projects.
The seniors, aged 60 and older, must live in Corte Madera, and be home on October 24 between 9:00am and 12:00 noon. No specific appointment times will be made. Participants must have the necessary supplies on hand.
Any Corte Madera seniors wishing to receive help on “Rotary Service Day” may contact Marge, at Age-Friendly Corte Madera at 415-480-9758 and leave contact information and a description of the task.
Let us get those pesky to-do's done for you!
