The County of Marin has approved the purchase of the motel formerly known as the America’s Best Value Inn (1591 Casa Buena Drive) with grant funding through Project Homekey and other County housing program funds for the purpose of providing 18 units of permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. While this is not a Town project, and the Town does not have jurisdiction over the sale of privately owned property, Town staff will continue to facilitate public discussions related to Project Homekey and the pending transfer of ownership of the intended housing project at 1591 Casa Buena Drive.
