The Town of Corte Madera will be hosting the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer July 10-12. The "Wellness Center" for the event will be housed in the park and will be accommodate event walkers after their first day of the event. Some of the walkers will be spending the night in the park and will leave on Sunday morning.
There will be setup the day before the event and cleanup the day after the event. During this time, Town Park will be closed to the public. The Pixley parking lot and the Eastman parking lot by the Corte Madera Community Center will be closed from Friday, July 10 at 6am through Sunday, July 12 at 10pm for event parking only, and limited to event staff and coordinators.
The children's playground will be open and available for use during this time, with limited street parking available.
