There’s a new class at the Age-Friendly Intergenerational Center (AFIC) – “American style” MAHJONG! Starting Tuesday, October 1st and through October 22nd. This 4-week course will be taught by expert instructor Leslie Friedman from 2:30PM to 4:00PM. (Please don’t miss the first class!) This is also a good refresher for those not yet proficient. Leslie loves teaching and sharing her passion for the game which consists of 152 tiles. She will impart to you the game that is fun, stimulating and addictive!
Free to AFIC members. Memberships are available for a $25 tax deductible donation from Corte Madera residents and a $40 donation from non-residents payable to Age-Friendly Solutions. The donation entitles you to participate in any and all of the AFIC programs for the entire year at NO CHARGE. Call 991-4040 to sign up for the class or email pwaterstone@tcmmail.org, or just stop by the Center at the side of the Community Center by the iconic pencil bench, 498 Tamalpais Dr., opposite Cafe Verde.
