[ARCHIVED] Climate Resilience Public Meetings for Shoreline and Hillside Neighborhoods

Climate Adaptation Plan Workshops

The Town has embarked on an 18-month planning process to develop a Climate Adaptation Plan (CAP) focused on enhancing the resilience of the Town. The result will be a dynamic plan that will influence and direct resources and improve the future of the Town for the next 5, 10, and 20 years and beyond. Due to this importance, engagement by the community in the planning process is essential – inclusive of residents, businesses, visitors and organizations.

We are just getting started, but would greatly appreciate your input as part of this process.  There are two immediate opportunities for that participation. We are hosting two community conversations on climate change and resilience, one focused on shoreline neighborhoods and businesses (flooding and sea-level rise) and the other on hillside neighborhoods (drought, wildfire, resilience).

Shoreline Resilience Workshop

  • Wednesday May 8th
  • 6:30pm-8:30pm
  • Location: The Cove School (330 Golden Hind Passage)

Hillside Resilience Workshop

  • Thursday May 9th
  • 6:30pm-8:30pm
  • Location: Corte Madera Community Center (498 Tamalpais Drive)

Please call the Public Works Department at 415-927-5057 with any questions and visit for more information about the Climate Adaptation Plan and upcoming workshops.
