We would like to inform you that the Kentfield Fire Protection District and Central Marin Fire Authority will be conducting a test of an emergency alert system using a Long Range Acoustic Device (LRAD). The dates, times and locations for the test are as follows:
1. Wednesday, December 5th starting at approximately 1:00PM and being conducted from Kentfield Station 17, 1004 Sir Francis Drake Blvd.
2. Thursday, December 6th starting at approximately 10:00AM and being conducted from Larkspur Station 15, 420 Magnolia Avenue (downtown).
3. Thursday, December 6th starting at approximately 1:00PM and being conducted from Corte Madera Station 14, 342 Tamalpais Drive.
During the test, individuals will hear a loud alert tone followed by a voice message.
If you hear the emergency alert during either of these times, please remember this is only a test and not a real emergency. There will be no requirement for citizens to take action or shelter in place.
