[ARCHIVED] National Prescription Drug TAKE BACK DAY

DrugAndCMPALogo

It’s finally Spring - - and time to clean out your medicine cabinets and drawers of unwanted prescription drugs.

National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day is Saturday, April 27th.

RX Take-Back Day is a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of unused or expired prescription drugs.  The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked. On the last Take-Back Day in October 2018, nearly 460 tons (more than 900,000 pounds) of unused or expired medications were collected nationwide.

You can drop off pills and patches at either of the Central Marin Police Authority (CMPA) stations between 10AM and 2PM on Saturday, April 27th.  Please no liquids or sharps.  The Larkspur station is located at 250 Doherty Drive, and the San Anselmo station is at 525 San Anselmo Avenue.
