The Corte Madera Community Foundation (CMCF) and Practical Martial Arts of Corte Madera are again sponsoring this year's cleanup. This event is supported locally by Mill Valley Refuse as well as our Public Works Department. The CMCF and Practical Martial Arts of Corte Madera have been working together to clean up our wetlands and waterways for the past twelve years for this California event which is always held on the second Saturday of September.
The cleanup day in Corte Madera will be held on Saturday, September 15 from 9AM to 12PM. Anyone interested in participating should park in the Macy's Parking Lot near the light at San Clemente and join Bob Bundy and other volunteers at the intersection of San Clemente and Redwood.
Wear work clothes, boots and bring gloves and water. Small groups will be sent out to the wetlands and waterways in Corte Madera. All volunteers are invited to the Bay Model for a noon barbeque sponsored by the Sausalito Lions Club and the Army Corp of Engineers.
