The Parks and Recreation Department's Kids Club Program for children ages 5-12 will be open Thursday from 8am – 630pm. The cost is $25 for the day. Some minor registration information will be needed when you check in. Kids Club is located in the back of the Community Center (498 Tamalpais) by the brown wooden steps next to the driveway. Christina Martin, program director will be in at 8am to greet you.

Light rain will begin later Wedensday in the North Bay. There is no change in the prediction of the powerful storm system heading this way expecting to reach the North Bay late Wednesday afternoon to early evening. Models continue to indicate the storm is expected to intensify in the early hours of Thursday morning and very heavy rain will continue into the afternoon on Thursday. 3-5 inches of rain is possible locally. Very strong winds continue to be predicted during this event as well as high surf. The wind will begin to taper off mid-day Thursday and rain will then taper-off later in the day on Thursday leading to clear weather on Saturday.
The County Office of Emergency Services is forecasting that the bulk of storm will occur from 10 pm Wednesday to 1 pm Thursday. Up to seven inches may fall, ending Thursday evening.
High tide will be 1.75 feet lower than last week and will occur around 4 am Thursday. Winds will be up to 35 mph sustained, and gusting up to 60 mph is possible.
