The Central Marin Neighborhood Response Groups (NRGs) invite you to learn more about how our local NRGs can assist you and your community in preparing for a disaster.
Their goal is to help neighborhoods in Corte Madera, Larkspur and Greenbrae prepare to take care of their families and neighbors for a period of time after a major disaster and prepare to evacuate in the face of a wildfire without significant help from first responders and safety officials.
30 NRGs have been formed with 4,500 residences covered. Many NRG volunteers are Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and First Aid for Disaster Response (FADR) trained.
