It will then turn south on Magnolia Avenue to Corte Madera Avenue, where it will turn east onto Redwood Avenue and then east on Tamalpais Drive, continuing to Madera Boulevard. The parade will end at Tamalpais Drive and Madera Blvd. Central Marin Police will close the streets starting at 10:00 a.m. for the parade. The streets will remain closed until the parade reaches its ending point at approximately 1:30 p.m.
ROAD CLOSURES: After 10:00 a.m. motorists will only be able to turn on Madera Boulevard from westbound Tamalpais Drive, or turn into the Corte Madera Town Center on the south side once the parade has started. Magnolia Avenue southbound traffic will be closed at Bon Air Road. Corte Madera Avenue traffic will be closed at the town limits for through traffic and at the intersection with Redwood Avenue for the parade. Traffic entering the area from Lucky Drive will have to turn onto Tamal Vista Boulevard as the road will be closed at Lucky Drive and Fifer Ave.
Additionally, Pixley Avenue will be closed throughout the day. Access will be restricted to residents of Pixley and lower Redwood Avenues. It will also be utilized for parking for arts and craft people (in the tennis court parking area).
GLASS CONTAINERS & ALCOHOL: Glass containers are banned from Corte Madera Town Park. Alcohol being carried into the park is also limited by town ordinance. Alcohol violations associated with minors in possession, contributing, and drunkenness will be strictly enforced.
There will be a high police presence to ensure a safe and fun Fourth of July celebration for all attendees.
