The application period for the June 5, 2018 Municipal Election opened on Monday, February 12th. Notice is given that the filing period for Town Council candidates has been extended through 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2018, for non-incumbent filers only, as at least one current office-holder with an expiring term has chosen not to file for re-election by the March 9th filing deadline. Candidates for Town Council must be a resident of Corte Madera, at least 18 years of age and a registered voter in the Town of Corte Madera at the time nomination papers are issued.
The next regularly scheduled General Municipal Election will be held on June 5, 2018, where the voters of the Town of Corte Madera will elect three (3) members to the Town Council. Candidate binders, required forms and related election materials will be available in the Town Clerk's office at Town Hall (300 Tamalpais Drive, Corte Madera) throughout the nomination period.
