Dear Interested Citizens,
This message provides additional information regarding the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR), Story Poles, and the Corte Madera Planning Commission Public Hearing for the Village at Corte Madera Expansion/Restoration Hardware Project.
FEIR: The FEIR can now be accessed on the project web page here: http://www.townofcortemadera.org/563/Village-Expansion-Project-Restoration-Ha. (Please scroll down to the bottom of the page). Related environmental documents (Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR)), project plans, and other information about the proposed project is also available through the above link or by visiting the office of the Planning Department during public hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:00am – 11:30am and 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
Story Poles: The story poles that have been erected at the Village Shopping Center showing the location and height of the proposed structure will remain up until November 15. Story pole plans, indicating in plan and on rendered images the points on the proposed building represented by the poles at the site, can also be accessed on the project web page: http://www.townofcortemadera.org/563/Village-Expansion-Project-Restoration-Ha. Additional signage has also been posted at the Village, adjacent to the poles, to provide information to the public. A physical massing model can be viewed inside the existing Restoration Hardware store at The Village.
Planning Commission Public Hearing: As a reminder, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on November 14, at 6:30pm, at Town Hall, 300 Tamalpais Drive, to review project applications and the EIR, and possibly make a recommendation to the Town Council regarding the project. Please note the early start time. The public hearing notice is available on the project webpage listed above, or by accessing the October 31st NewsFlash item here: http://www.townofcortemadera.org/CivicAlerts.aspx?AID=146. Signage regarding the public hearing will also be placed at the Village. Information regarding the project applications is located on the project web page (see Project Description and Project Plans). The Planning Department’s Staff report is scheduled to be available early next week and will be posted on the project web page.
