On Tuesday 2/28/17 at 7:30pm, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a Design Review, Precise Plan Amendment and Sign Permit for modifications to tenant space #347 on the east side of Corte Madera Town Center, including modifications of the entry area and the southern portion of the eastern elevation and new illuminated signs, to accommodate a new Sephora store.
The proposed project is to modify tenant space #347 on the east side of the Corte Madera Town Center, including modifications of the entry doors and glazing above. The existing red awnings will be replaced with black awnings and the main building walls will be painted white, with portions having black strips. The lower three fourths of the tower will be painted black with the upper fourth being white. The roof material is not proposed to change. The proposed signs are located on the tower, the awnings and
the southern end of the east elevation. Images of the proposed elevation are shown on page 2 of the public notice (see link below).
A complete set of plans is available for review at the Planning Department. The Planning Department recommends that this project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Categorical Exemption Class 1 (CEQA Article 19, Section 15301).
All persons interested in the foregoing are invited to appear before the Corte Madera Planning Commission at the time, day and place mentioned above. If you challenge this project in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Town of Corte Madera at, or prior to, the Public Hearing. All written responses will become part of the public record.
