The project consisted of the installation of flow meters at the Trailer Court and Village Pump Stations, a new generator at Trailer Court and a new Motor Control Center (MCC) at the Sausalito Pump Station.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company reviewed the gas meter permit application for the increase in the required generator size. The goals of these two flow meters was to combine them with the Paradise and Fifer Pump Stations in order to measure the sewer flows sent to Central Marin Sanitation Agency (CMSA) more accurately.
Additionally, the sub-basin flow data would help staff chase down possible inflow and infiltration (I&I) in the system.
