Magikids Course in Magic for Kids
Ages 7 - 10
Seeing a magician perform is a chance to experience the wonders of magic. Performing magic allows your child to become the life of the party and give your family and friends something wonderful to remember. Most of all, your child will enjoy amazing everyone. Magic is an ancient art, international language and an incredible world unto its own. Paula Ramsey brings that world forward with her MagiKids’ Course in Magic. This is a pleasure and a gift your child will have and be able to give for a lifetime. In this class, students will learn to:
“Think outside the box”
Invent and adapt their own tricks and routines
Learn about the exciting history and evolution of magic
Increase their motor and eye-hand coordination
Develop their self-esteem and public speaking/acting abilities
Students will learn tricks with everyday objects, cards, coins, ropes and much much more. Note: There is a $10 materials fee to be paid to the instructor at the first class.
About the Instructor: Paula Ramsey has been a Bay Area magician for over 25 years. She is a member of the IBM, SAM, and the prestigious Academy of Magical Arts (Magic Castle of Hollywood). Known for her humor and her ability to connect with all ages, Paula has performed for many celebrities and taken her show all over the world. Teaching children has been the highlight of her career and joy in her life.
Carpentry for Kids k-6 Grade
Carpentry for Kids is a mixed age curriculum for K-6 designed to teach practical woodworking skills with an emphasis on the safe use of hand tools. Students will have an opportunity to create fun, functional and beautiful projects, that are appropriate for their ability level. This self paced class structure is a great introduction for first timers, as well as an opportunity for avid carpenters to complete increasingly advanced projects.
