Flood Control Board (FCB)

Mission

The Flood Control Board was established in response to major flooding events that occurred in 1982 and 1998, and provides a forum for public input on flood control issues facing the Town. The Flood Board coordinates with the Public Works Department by:

  • Meeting to discuss flood control measures and services provide by the town.
  • Providing a public forum for comment and discussion about flood control issues.
  • Recommending key flood control projects for inclusion in the annual budget.

Meeting Schedule

  • Meetings are scheduled for 6:30PM on the 2nd Monday of even months. 
  • In 2024, meetings are scheduled for the following dates:
    • February 12th 
    • April 8th 
    • June 10th
    • August 12th 
    • October 14th 
    • December 9th 

How to Attend Meetings

Membership 

The Board is made up of seven members from the public who are appointed by the Town Council to serve a 2-year term.
