Please be aware that in an effort to limit potential exposure and community spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus), town facilities are closed to the public for walk-in public counter visits until further notice. In person visits are available on a limited basis by appointment only. Essential services offered by the Town, such as services related to planning and building permits, will be conducted via telephone, email and online. Staff are available to help you by phone and email Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. About the Building Department: The Building Department reviews building permit applications and plans for compliance with State and local building codes including structural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and energy efficiency. The department also provides inspection and code enforcement services for all building related construction.
Open Hours for Town Departments:

Administration and Finance: Monday through Thursday 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm, Friday 8 am to close. Closing hours vary. Please call 415-927-5050 to verify.
Building, Planning, Public Works and Sanitary District Number 2: Monday through Thursday 8 am to 11:30 am and 1 pm to 3 pm, Closed to the public on Fridays
Parks and Recreation: Monday through Thursday 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm, Closed to the public on Fridays.
