Exemption Form
The Town of Corte Madera requires commercial solid waste generators to submit this form if they are required to comply with state laws set by Assembly Bill (AB) 1826 and/or AB 341 and/or Senate Bill (SB) 1383 and meet certain criteria as mentioned in the form. The individual or business submitting this form will be contacted by the Town following the review of this form regarding the status of your application. Self Haul Form
Assembly Bill (AB) 1826 and Senate Bill (SB)1383 allow commercial solid waste generators who do not subscribe to recycling and/or organics service with the franchised hauler (currently Mill Valley Refuse Service) to provide proof of compliance with AB 1826 and SB 1383. Proof includes, but is not limited to, all receipts from recycling and/or organics processing facilities that clearly identifies the type and quantity of material delivered.
