Japanese Tea Garden

Experience a day of natural beauty, tranquility and harmony of a Japanese-style garden in Golden Gate Park. The garden covers 5 acres featuring arched drum bridge, pajodas, koi ponds, Japanese plants and other sights in the area to enjoy. Leaving Corte Madera Community Center at 8:30am and returning at 2:30pm (depending on traffic). Lunch will be on your own. Tea House is available on the grounds. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 26th.

River Rock Casino

An easy drive and ideal setting aren't the only things that make our Sonoma County casino feel so welcoming. River Rock Casino has a certain something- let's call it heart -that makes you say, "I'm at home here." So come on over to play blackjack with your buddies. You'll find better food, better player rewards and the guaranteed loosest slots. You'll also find a come-as-you-are time. Bus leaves Corte Madera Community Center at 8:30am and returns at 4:30pm (depending on traffic). Lunch will be on your own. MUST REGISTER BY 7/24/17. 

Bridge to Bridge Cruise

See all of San Francisco beautiful water fronts in one cruise. You will travel from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge viewing Alcatraz Island and see other famous landmarks. Length of cruise: 1 ½ hours. Leaving Corte Madera Parks & Recreation (Community Center) at 10:00 am- returning at 3:30pm. Return time may vary according to traffic. Lunch will be on your own. Food available on boat to purchase or you may bring your own lunch. 

Roaring Camp Railroads

Enjoy a ride into the past on a 19th century steam train. You will be traveling over trestles, through towering redwood groves, winding up a narrow gauge grade to the top of Bear Mountain. Conductors will narrate the history of Roaring Camp, the railroad and the forest. Trip will last approximately 1-1 ½ hours. Leaving Corte Madera Parks & Recreation (Community Center) at 8:30am, returning at 4:30pm. Return may vary according to traffic. Lunch will be on your own. MUST REGISTER BY 5/12/17.

Safari West Trek

Visit an African adventure in the heart of California wine country. Enjoy a 90 minute riding tour and a 30 minute walking tour on a 400 acre preserve. Over 900 animals in an African setting for your enjoyment. Registration fee of $106.00 includes transportation, entrance fee and lunch.
